After reading this book it reveals to me that, that is not the fact. I gravitate toward this genre because that’s how my mind works. We can do that by focusing our conscious attention on who and what we want to be or change and then, through mental rehearsal and consequent experience and repetition rewire our brain to BE what we WANT instead of what we let ourselves unconsciously become.

Now I know why I do what Brzin do, our brain mind body is fascinating. Dr Joe’s point is that we do that almost entirely to the degree that for most of us almost everything we are becomes like that, that we have no conscious control over our own emotions and attitudes and other aspects of being.

I really liked it, and I can easily recommend to someone who is looking for in depth book about biology of wvolve brain and mind. Still, it’s a pretty good book. Why are some people able to “believe themselves” out of terminal diagnosis? These books have changed my life!

The book covers some genuinely useful research on neuroscience and human behaviour, but it’s often warped so badly to match the authors preconceived ideas, it’s hard to know what you can trust.
